We are seeking a skilled Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team at our Vulcan Distribution site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining high levels of customer service with a focus on sales
  • Growing the assigned territory in partnership with external sales personnel
  • Providing timely quotes to customers' specifications
  • Assisting customers with phone and email enquiries
  • Following up on active quotes and assisting to build a pipeline of work
  • Liaising with the operations team to ensure that orders are scheduled and dispatched to achieve full DIFOT
  • Assisting with scheduling transport and stocktakes
  • Contributing to the overall Health and Safety of the site

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Knowledge of or experience in the steel or construction industry
  • Previous customer service and sales experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Intermediate computer skills
