Restaurant Manager Opportunity

This is a unique chance to work as a Restaurant Manager in a vibrant and dynamic dining environment.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill this role, working closely with the team to deliver exceptional service and guest experience standards.

The position offers a great balance between work and personal life, with a manageable schedule covering 5 dinners and 1 lunch (Saturday) per week, typically from 3 pm – 11 pm.

To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess:

  • A strong background in hospitality management, preferably with at least three years of experience.
  • A deep understanding of business acumen, including rostering, operational costings, and team development.
  • The ability to work varied shifts, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • A keen desire to learn and expand your knowledge in hospitality management.
  • A passion for teamwork and customer-focused environments.
  • An advantage if you have wine knowledge or experience in menu planning and development.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience in maintaining high service standards, planning seasonal menus, managing reservations and customer service, and participating in recruitment and training of new staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining exceptional service and presentation standards.
  • Developing and implementing seasonal menus, wine pairings, and special event menus.
  • Managing purchasing, stock levels, and staffing costs to meet weekly and monthly targets.
  • Overseeing reservations and customer service in a fast-paced dining room.
  • Ensuring health and safety compliance.
  • Contributing to recruitment, training, and supervising new staff.
