We are currently seeking a WHS Strategic Partner to enhance our safety initiatives and collaborate with our National Safety team. This role will be pivotal in developing, executing, and overseeing our comprehensive safety management framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections and risk evaluations on-site.
  • Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports.
  • Deliver training and educational programs to staff.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards.
  • Work with management to devise strategies for safety enhancements.
  • Monitor workplace conditions and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Advise on corrective actions and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate on Return-to-Work Programs with external partners.
  • Champion a culture of safety throughout the organization.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in workplace health and safety.
  • Possession of a relevant qualification in WHS.
  • In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work effectively within a national team framework.
