Peter Warren Automotive, a prominent player in the automotive sector, is looking for a WHS Business Partner to contribute to our commitment to a safe working environment.
The WHS Business Partner will work closely with the National Safety team to create, execute, and oversee the organization’s safety management framework. This role will collaborate with leaders across multiple locations to ensure adherence to safety regulations and promote a robust safety culture throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and enforce health and safety policies, procedures, and initiatives.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk evaluations.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, providing detailed reports.
- Deliver training and educational programs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety legislation.
- Work with management to devise strategies for safety enhancements.
- Monitor workplace conditions and the application of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Advise on corrective actions and preventive strategies.
- Collaborate on Return-to-Work Programs with external partners.
- Encourage a culture of safety across the organization.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in WHS.
- Possess a relevant qualification in WHS.
- Comprehensive understanding of WHS legislation and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work effectively within a National Team.
