Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Materials Coordinator to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement accurate material plans, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive material requirement plans using MRP outputs
  • Manage purchase orders, ensuring precise delivery dates and effective communication
  • Liaise with suppliers to confirm orders, track estimated times of arrival, and expedite as necessary
  • Identify and escalate potential supply chain risks, including logistics, quality, and documentation issues
  • Create detailed supply chain reports highlighting shortages, inventory forecasts, and safety stock requirements
  • Maintain up-to-date ERP master data for all inventory items
  • Represent the supply chain in operational meetings, facilitating open communication and action-oriented follow-up
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or FMCG
  • Prior materials planning experience is essential
  • Able to drive change and improve processes
  • Strong logistics and supplier management expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
