Materials Coordinator
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Materials Planner to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials and supplies to meet production needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Generate and maintain accurate material requirement plans using MRP outputs
- Raise and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and communication with suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm orders, track ETAs, and expedite where necessary
- Identify and escalate supply risks including logistics, quality, or documentation issues
- Produce regular supply chain reports including shortages, inventory forecasts, and safety stock levels
- Maintain ERP master data accuracy for all inventory items
- Experience in a regulated industry such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or FMCG
- Strong background in materials planning and procurement
- Ability to implement change and improve processes
- Excellent logistics and supplier management expertise
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
