The HSE Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and promoting a safe, accident-free, and healthy work environment for the electrical and mechanical scope (Turbine, Generator, BoPe, BoPm, Hydraulic steel structures) at the Snowy Hydro construction site, under consideration of relevant regulations, contract requirements, construction schedule, and budgetary targets of the project.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure HSE compliance with regulations, contractual requirements, certifications, and the company HSE Management System;
  • Design and implement relevant HSE site-specific programs;
  • Participate in work planning meetings to ensure HSE tasks are prepared in advance and identify bottlenecks proactively;
  • Act as the subject matter expert for all health, safety, and environmental site issues;
  • Perform site audits and inspections;
  • Supervise HSE team members and provide coaching and training to the project team.
