About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Management Coordinator to join our team at the Australian Defence Force.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on human resources management, personnel operations, resource and knowledge management, communication effects, and air and ground operations. You will work closely with squadron executives, flying crews, maintenance staff, and base services to coordinate unit operations.

You will maintain the Air Force's most valued assets - its people - from a capability perspective as well as a welfare perspective. This includes maintaining accurate records, managing internal information flow, and providing support during deployments and exercises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice on human resources management, personnel operations, and resource and knowledge management.
  • Liaise with squadron executives, flying crews, maintenance staff, and base services to coordinate unit operations.

Working Conditions

Working conditions are generally good in well-appointed offices. However, you may be required to live and work under field conditions when participating in military exercises or deployed on active service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field.
  • At least 5 years' experience in human resources management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
