Human Resources Advisor

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our Workforce and Culture Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing HR advice and assistance to the NFSA, supporting the delivery of our strategic goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Provide HR advice and assistance to the NFSA, including workforce planning, payroll, learning and development, Work Health and Safety, wellbeing, recruitment, performance management, and HR reporting.
Partner with managers across the organisation to achieve our strategic goals, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes and excellent customer service.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, managers, and external partners.
Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters, including policies, procedures, and legislation.
Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will have:
A strong background in human resources, with experience in workforce planning, payroll, learning and development, and Work Health and Safety.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with employees, managers, and external partners.
A high level of organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes and excellent customer service.
