Event Coordinator Job Description

At Fever, we are on a mission to democratize access to culture and entertainment. We're looking for an experienced event coordinator who can oversee the entire experience, from conception to delivery. This freelance & part-time role is based in Melbourne and will involve managing relationships with venues and staff, identifying potential venues, local providers, and vendors, recruiting and coordinating on-site event staff, and ensuring production and sanitary materials are correctly distributed in the venue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage events from conception to delivery, including relationship-building with venues and staff
  • Identify and execute walk-throughs and negotiations with potential venues and providers
  • Recruit and coordinate on-site event staff, ensuring they are trained in their duties and follow COVID-19 safety measures
  • Report daily to Fever Originals Project Managers about event status, findings, and feedback

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Finding the right candidate is crucial for this role. We require someone with previous event coordination experience, excellent face-to-face communication skills, and strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate should also be highly organized and efficient, with time management skills that enable them to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
