You are:
You love executing a great plan with your team. More specifically, you're good at bringing an event to life with your team. Even more specifically, you love events. You know the hospitality industry. Great service, the camaraderie of your team and the sense of pride when it all just clicks.
This is what your day-to-day will probably look like:
You probably know what a week looks like if you have worked in events. Each day is a new challenge. Reading over event orders, planning for the unforeseeable, briefing your team, juggling suppliers who are running off in different directions, ensuring service runs to schedule, … and keeping your pulse on every tick of the clock.
But here's where we do things a little differently. We believe in focusing on what we each love to do and doing it well. No selling events or endless days in the office working on data entry. Your focus? Executing amazing events – because that's what you do best, and we're here to help you do even more of it.
Who are we looking for?

You love lists and organisation. Seriously. You love seeing a chaotic bunch of tasks and taming them into something coherent

Preferably one year's experience within the events industry with at least one year managing events and teams from an operational perspective

Listening and investigative skills

Amazing attention to detail, especially with written and verbal communications

Ability to solve problems on the spot; no plan is foolproof

You love working with a diverse team

Rotating roster

Leonda By The Yarra is our primary location and where the majority of events will take place

The role does involve travelling as you will be required to host events across our other venues and will include the use of larger vehicles allowed under a Class C drivers license (a standard Australian license). Typically this is a 4.2M moving van
