Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage meetings and events across our venue, delivering high-quality experiences for clients
- Lead, coach, and empower Supervisors and Attendants to deliver exceptional service
- Maintain contact with clients to meet their needs and requests prior to and during functions
- Supervise room set-ups to ensure client needs are met according to the event order
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, providing innovative suggestions to enhance event success
- Ensure seamless communication between Sales, Food & Beverage, and Kitchen teams for smooth event implementation
- Set up and maintain systems for accurate stock control and ordering
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A natural leader who inspires the Conference & Events team to provide patrons with a genuinely first-class experience
- A strong background in conference and events operations, preferably within the luxury market, with experience running mid to large-scale events
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- Be a calming influence in high-pressure environments, sustaining positive team morale and creating a culture people want to be part of
- Foster positive relationships with key managers, department heads, and stakeholders to meet business needs
- Be a progressive professional who remains pragmatic and focused in challenging environments
- Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests
- Detail-focused with the ability to deliver consistently high-quality service
- Flexible and able to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
