Role Overview

The Nurse Educator Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping the learning journey of staff, providing tailored orientation and cultural supervision to foster connection and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive orientation programs, including staff rounding, dedicated cultural supervision, and participation in cultural celebrations and consultation forums.
  • Provide ongoing cultural supervision and support to enhance staff engagement and promote a culturally safe workplace.
  • Mentor and guide staff in their professional development, focusing on clinical teaching and building team capability.
Requirements
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA and relevant clinical or education post-registration qualifications or equivalent experience.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent.
  • Aboriginal descent and eligibility under the Anti-Discrimination Act for identification as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.
