
Nurse Educator Role

As a nurse educator, you will play a key role in developing and implementing comprehensive learning pathways for staff members at various levels.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing roles, possess post-registration nursing or midwifery clinical or education qualifications, and be eligible for current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Key responsibilities include leading the planning and deployment of targeted educational strategies, collaborating with tertiary institutions to co-create postgraduate nursing courses, and offering leadership and mentorship to Clinical Nurse Educators.
Additionally, the successful candidate will receive backing from the hospital's executive team with tailored professional development and a structured job-share handover.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Eligibility for current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Post-registration nursing/midwifery clinical or education qualifications relevant to the clinical area or equivalent qualifications
- Experience in a management role
Benefits
