Nurse Educator: A Leadership Role in Nursing Education.
The organization is seeking an experienced Nurse Educator to join their team at a hospital. This role aims to promote equal access for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine comprehensive learning pathways for nursing staff, from new graduates to postgraduate students.
- Offer leadership, mentorship, and support to Clinical Nurse Educators, fostering professional growth.
- Partner with tertiary institutions and specialty Nurse Educators to co-create, launch, and assess postgraduate nursing courses.
- Lead planning and deployment of targeted educational strategies for the nursing workforce.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Post-registration nursing/midwifery clinical or education qualifications relevant to the clinical area.
- Demonstrated experience in a management role.
