Nurse Educator

We are seeking an exceptional Nurse Educator to lead our nursing workforce towards excellence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive learning pathways that cater to the diverse needs of our staff.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education, with experience in mentoring and supporting Clinical Nurse Educators. You will also have the ability to partner with tertiary institutions to co-create and assess postgraduate nursing courses.

In this role, you will be expected to lead targeted educational strategies that align with our district-wide excellence standards. This may involve working closely with Ward/Unit/Service teams to develop and implement tailored training programs.

To be successful in this position, you will need to possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive learning pathways for staff.
  • Mentor and support Clinical Nurse Educators.
  • Partner with tertiary institutions to co-create and assess postgraduate nursing courses.
  • Lead targeted educational strategies for Ward/Unit/Service nursing workforce.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Post-registration nursing/midwifery clinical or education qualifications relevant to the clinical area.
  • Demonstrated experience in a management role.
