Climate Risk Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Climate Risk Consultant to join our team in Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for sustainability and climate change.

The successful candidate will guide clients through the process of assessing and mitigating climate-related risks, utilizing their expertise to analyze data and provide actionable insights.

This role can be based in or near Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, or Brisbane, with the option to work from home several days a week. We are looking for someone who is able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client relationship building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver high-quality results.
  • Project delivery: Oversee the delivery of consulting engagements/projects on time, on budget, and to high standards of quality.
  • Technical analysis: Provide expert viewpoint and quality assurance on deliverables as needed.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree/relevant qualification in a related field (sustainability/climate, environmental science, finance, climate policy, etc.).
  • Passion for sustainability and climate change.
  • Understanding of global climate science and scenarios.
  • Experience delivering transition and physical climate risk assessments for organizations or clients.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
