This is an exceptional chance for a highly skilled researcher to contribute to a cutting-edge project addressing climate science challenges and adaptation needs in Australia.
- You will be part of the National Environmental Science Program Climate Systems Hub project on regional climate change guidance for local action, contributing to improving understanding and usability of climate projections and extremes.
- As a key member of the Climate Adaptation Initiative, you will collaborate with experts from various institutions, including the Bureau of Meteorology and CSIRO, to advance knowledge and application of climate change research.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in climate change science and variability, with experience working with climate models and large datasets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to a coordinated climate change and adaptation research program across all four NESP Hubs.
- Collaborate with experts from various institutions to advance knowledge and application of climate change research.
- Work closely with the supervisor, Dr. Andrew King, to achieve project objectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
