Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Fleet Excellence Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for managing a team of delivery executives, ensuring efficient operations, and driving reactivations and referrals.

  • This includes managing a team of 500-850 delivery executives on a daily basis, coaching them through field training, conducting regular audits, and addressing individual issues and grievances.
  • The ideal candidate should have prior experience in fleet management, be willing to travel within the city, and possess excellent supervisory and customer service skills.
  • Prioritizing entrepreneurial attitude, attention to detail, and geographical knowledge, this role is perfect for those who thrive in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage a team of 500-850 delivery executives on a daily basis, assigning DE efficiency at an individual level.
  2. Coach DEs via field training for better delivery experience.
  3. Conduct regular field audits for better compliance among DEs.
  4. Manage and control voluntary attrition and control absconders by conducting regular engagement activities.
  5. Address DE level issues/grievances by escalating to relevant teams.
  6. Mitigate Strikes with minimal ground disruption.
  7. Drive reactivations and attritions through calling and engagement with DEs.
  8. Provide ground intelligence on cost, speed, and new launches.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Prior experience in fleet management is preferable.
  • Should have a bike and be willing to travel within the city.
  • Completes tasks independently with minimal follow-ups.
  • Should be available to work on Weekends.
  • Knowledge of supervisory techniques to manage, motivate, and train blue-collared workers.
  • Should know local geographical area knowledge and be able to converse in local languages.
  • The candidate should have an entrepreneurial attitude or be a go-getter.
  • Must have attention to detail and critically think through to resolve problems.
  • Must have customer service skills and be able to maintain a consistent, high level of service.
