Technical Support Specialist

About the Role:

  • We are seeking a seasoned technical expert to provide top-notch support and maintenance for cloud infrastructure across various platforms, including Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Exchange environments.
  • You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex technical issues, collaborating with solutions experts to maintain best practice environments, and participating in project teams to deploy and manage IT solutions for clients.
  • Your extensive knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall, LAN & WAN networking principles, and experience working with Hyper-V and other virtualisation solutions will be invaluable in this role.
  • In addition to your technical expertise, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, and be able to document and log all actions and solutions in our systems for accountability and future reference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote and onsite support to customers nationwide
  • Maintain cloud infrastructure across Hyper-V, AWS, and Azure platforms
  • Collaborate with solutions experts to maintain best practice environments
  • Participate in project teams to deploy and manage IT solutions
  • Document and log all actions and solutions

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of technical infrastructure from desktop to firewall
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Deep knowhow in Windows Server, desktop and Azure AD/GPO/DNS/DHCP
  • Strength across messaging platforms including Exchange Hybrid, On-prem and Office 365
  • Experience working with Hyper-V and other virtualisation solutions
  • Extensive experience with backup technologies
  • Excellent complex-problem diagnosis technique
  • Exposure to ticketing tools
