Job Profile Overview

We are seeking a skilled Claims Support Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will support client teams by taking accurate notes in routine discussions and correspondence on claim calculations or coverage.
  • They will provide assistance at scheduled formal claims review meetings between clients and insurers, ensuring smooth closures.
  • The role involves drafting straightforward correspondence according to predefined templates and/or standards for routine issues.
  • The Claims Support Specialist will conduct research to help colleagues identify suitable policies and/or coverages for routine coverage issues.
  • They will summarize notifications to provide solutions to clients against future risks and improve their understanding of various claims types.
  • The specialist will collect, download, and document claims-related data such as loss statistics, key trends, cost reduction opportunities, and other data into standard formats.
  • They will follow audit procedures to review and identify discrepancies between insurers and agreed service levels.
  • The specialist will input findings into template reports for senior colleagues to review and provide comments and recommendations.
  • Additionally, they will create clear communication documents according to pre-defined templates for small and/or low complexity clients regarding low complexity coverage and negotiations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Taking detailed notes in routine discussions and correspondence.
  • Providing support at scheduled formal claims review meetings.
  • Drafting straightforward correspondence.
  • Conducting research to identify suitable policies and/or coverages.
