Health and Wellbeing Advocate Role

As a Health and Wellbeing Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in guiding individuals towards optimal health and wellbeing outcomes. This involves working collaboratively with others to redefine excellence and make a positive impact on the lives of our clients and claimants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responding to general enquiries and providing support via inbound calls
  • Managing a portfolio of Motor and Warranty claims from start to finish
  • Handling complex claims and navigating the full IDR process
  • Interpreting policy wordings for Motor and Warranty policies and applying them accurately
  • Liaising with various third-party providers to achieve desired outcomes
  • Settling claims within client service instructions, company guidelines, and delegated authority
  • Attending meetings with clients as required
  • Achieving monthly performance metrics as designated by management
  • Complying with relevant legislation and regulations, including the General Insurance Code of Practice
  • Resolving complaints according to company procedures
  • Identifying potential fraud or recovery indicators for applicable claims
  • Approving payments and exercising payment approval responsibilities
  • Mentoring and training junior colleagues within the team
  • Supporting quality assurance requirements through regular file audits
About You:
  • You must have at least 5 years of experience in Claims handling for Motor or Property claims
  • Industry-specific ANZIIF qualifications are highly desirable
  • Customer-centric approach with a focus on achieving successful outcomes
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency in database management and Microsoft Office
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team while also mentoring peers
