Payroll Officer

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our team for a 3-6 months temporary role, subject to extension.

The successful candidate will be based in our Chatswood office, with the option to work from home two days per week. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can manage and update the everyday running of the payroll system, as well as possess strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance.

  • Process weekly and monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Manage payroll journals and timesheets.
  • Lodge superannuation and redundancy payments.
  • Stay up-to-date with EBA and new legislation.
  • Respond to payroll queries and assist with employee reporting.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-5 years of experience in end-to-end payroll functions.
  • Prior work in high-volume environments.
  • Strong Excel skills and knowledge of Micropay or ELMO.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
