About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Customer Service Expert to join our Guest Assistance Team at Virgin Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to guests with special needs, ensuring their travel experience is seamless and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to guests with visible and non-visible disabilities, providing assistance with pre-boarding, navigation, and other special requirements.
  • Collaborate with our Guest Service Agents to ensure guests receive a positive experience, even in the event of flight disruptions or cancellations.
  • Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills in supporting guests with diverse needs.
  • Contribute to process improvements to further enhance guest experience and satisfaction.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in a physical or manual handling capacity.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests and their families.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, supporting colleagues as needed.
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
  • Current, unrestricted Australian Driver's License.
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift 25kgs and walk 20,000-30,000 steps per day.
  • Availability for rotating shift rosters, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and public holidays.
