Senior Business Development Specialist

As a senior business development specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our company's future. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our marketing and communications team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in bidding, including scheduling and production. Strong proofing and content development skills are essential, as well as excellent internal influencing and relationship-building skills.

You will be responsible for managing bids, developing proposals with cross-functional teams, and supporting client-facing activities. A good understanding of our services, markets, and people is essential or will be gained on the job.

  • Lead bid management processes, ensuring alignment with strategy.
  • Manage multiple tender processes of varying scale and complexity, including bid scheduling, compliance, and document production.
  • Support business development decisions and analyze bid performance metrics.

Collaborate with teams to drive win strategies, support client-facing activities, and contribute to improving bidding processes and success rates.

Key Responsibilities:

Bid Management: Lead and manage bids across designated regions, ensuring alignment with strategy.

Tender Process Management: Proactively manage multiple tender processes of varying scale and complexity.

Business Development Support: Support business development decisions and analyze bid performance metrics.

Client-Facing Activities: Collaborate with teams to drive win strategies, support client-facing activities, and contribute to improving bidding processes and success rates.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven track record in bidding, including scheduling and production.

Skills: Strong proofing and content development skills, excellent internal influencing and relationship-building skills.

Education: Good understanding of our services, markets, and people.
