The RoleWe are seeking a Personal Care Worker to join our team of care professionals. As a Personal Care Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, person-centered care to residents in our residential aged care facilities. Your role will involve:
- Delivering personal care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, and pain management.
- Supporting nursing staff with assessment, care planning, and documentation.
- Monitoring the cleanliness and safety of the environment and reporting any issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Aged Care).
- Experience in residential aged care or home care (desired).
- Experience with dementia care and palliative care support (desired).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
