About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team at Uniting AgeWell. As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, person-centered care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident condition, ensuring timely escalation of concerns.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (Aged Care)
  • Experience in residential aged care or home care (desired)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent communication skills
