About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Youth Worker to join our team at Anglicare Victoria. As a key member of our residential care team, you will provide therapeutic care and support to young people in our care, helping them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care and support to young people in our residential care settings
  • Develop and implement therapeutic plans to address the complex needs of young people
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a safe and nurturing home environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of programs and activities that promote the well-being and resilience of young people
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention (Residential and Out of Home Care) or a relevant tertiary qualification
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries and work therapeutically with young people with complex needs
  • Willingness to undertake ongoing training and professional development
