Key Responsibilities:- Underwrite new and renewal business in accordance with underwriting guidelines and AIG principles
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, ensuring visibility of AIG in the market
- Assist management with reporting and implement business plans in accordance with Financial Lines and company direction
- Train and mentor junior underwriters to increase their product knowledge and underwriting authority
- Prior experience as a Senior Underwriter or Underwriter in Financial Lines
- Understanding of key business drivers in the Directors & Officers insurance segment is desirable
- Client-orientated with the ability to build and maintain successful relationships
- Proven track-record in underwriting financial lines insurance products
- Previous experience within a commercial insurance/finance/legal environment, including exposure to clients and/or intermediaries
