Key Account Manager

Job Overview
  • This exciting role focuses on developing long-term profitable relationships by providing world-class customer experiences.

The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor responsible for the development of all assigned client and consultant relationships. They will work with internal partners to achieve assigned sales targets and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maximize sales opportunities and negotiate deals within business guidelines.
  • Develop client plans in consultation with clients and/or consultants, based on mutually agreed goals.
  • Coordinate market intelligence covering competitors' products, pricing, and services.
  • Maintain up-to-date client information, including key contacts and current business strategy.
  • Advise clients and/or consultants on market trends, competitive behavior, and developments within the business.
  • Prepare and submit regular reports as required on client and sales activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven Sales and Key Account Management ability, including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, and excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and resilient operator who remains calm in a crisis.
  • Expert product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels.
  • Strategic management with strong business and reporting capabilities.
  • Analytical interpretation and advanced problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with strong presence and impact.
  • Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop diverse networked relationships internally and externally.
  • Proficiency in using cloud-based customer relationship management platforms and MS suite of products.
  • 10+ years of experience, may possess relevant tertiary qualifications.
