About This Role

We are seeking highly skilled Underground Electricians to work in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in underground coal mining and a proven track record of installing, commissioning, maintaining and operating complex mining equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in a timely manner.
  • FOLLOW all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Hold a minimum of 2 years' experience in Underground Coal Mining.
  • Hold a Certificate of proficiency in an electrical trade.
  • Have sound knowledge of underground mining equipment and machinery.
  • Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Be committed to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team and independently.
