Job Title: High Voltage Electrical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled High Voltage Electrical Specialist to provide expert-level services for diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of equipment.

Main duties include:

  • Providing timely and quality customer outcomes through thorough fault finding, maintenance, and repair services
  • Attending to site breakdowns and undertaking diagnostic work to ensure minimal downtime
  • Liaising with technical support staff for new machine builds and machine shutdowns
  • Maintaining effective communication with customers to deliver high-level technical product support

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A strong focus on safety with an understanding and ability to always abide by site safety procedures
  • Qualifications – A Certificate III in Electrotechnology is required
  • Strong analytical skills – Ability to investigate and diagnose complex electrical issues and carry out repair and maintenance services with minimal rework
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and drawings
  • Ability to meet the requirements for order 43 pre-employment medical assessments
  • Current Hunter Valley mine site inductions will be considered advantageous
  • Possession of high-risk work licenses such as EWP, WAH, Forklift, and dogging will be considered advantageous
  • Ability to travel away from home for short periods
  • Experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment is essential

This role requires a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
