High Voltage Electrical Specialist

Our business is seeking a highly skilled and experienced electrical specialist to fill a crucial role in our team.

About the Role
  • Deliver exceptional customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to various types of equipment.
  • Provide timely support for onsite breakdowns, undertake fault finding and diagnostic work.
  • Participate in new machine builds, machine shutdowns, and collaborate with technical support staff.
  • Ensure seamless communication between customers and the company, providing a high level of technical product support.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A strong emphasis on safety awareness and ability to adhere to site safety procedures.
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent is required.
  • Exceptional analytical skills – ability to investigate and diagnose complex electrical issues, and carry out repair and maintenance services with minimal rework.
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Meet requirements for pre-employment medical assessments and hold relevant certifications.
  • Current Hunter Valley mine site inductions are advantageous.
  • Possession of high-risk work licenses such as EWP, WAH, Forklift, and dogging is beneficial.
  • Ability to travel for short periods for work commitments.
  • Essential experience on heavy mobile mining equipment.
