High Voltage Electrical Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join our team in Muswellbrook. This is a key position that requires a strong safety focus and analytical thinking skills to investigate and diagnose complex electrical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

This role involves providing quality customer outcomes through diagnostic, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of equipment. Additionally, you will be responsible for attending onsite site breakdowns, undertaking fault finding and diagnostic work, and liaising with technical support staff.

Requirements:
  • A strong safety culture with an understanding and ability to always abide by site safety processes
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology or higher qualification
  • Analytical thinking - Ability to investigate and diagnose complex electrical issues
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics
  • Ability to meet the requirements for order 43 pre-employment medical
  • Hunter Valley mine site inductions will be considered advantageous
  • Possession of high risk work licences such as EWP, WAH, Forklift and dogging will be considered advantageous
  • Ability to travel away for work for short periods
