We are seeking a talented and motivated Reliability Engineer to join our Asset Management team.

Leveraging data insights and sound engineering principles, you will lead efforts to improve equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and embed a proactive approach to asset reliability across the operation.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse equipment performance and data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and defect elimination (DE) investigations.
  • Develop and optimize asset strategies, including condition monitoring and life cycle plans.
  • Support the planning and execution of maintenance shutdowns and component replacements.
  • Provide engineering support to the Off-Site Repairs (OSR) team, including repair scope development and review.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance, Operations, OEMs, and specialist contractors to implement sustainable solutions.
  • Champion reliability best practice and build capability across the business.
Qualifications And Experience
  • A mechanical or electrical trade qualification is required.
  • A tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience with heavy mobile equipment (HME) maintenance in an open cut mining environment.
  • Exposure to maintenance management systems, such as Pulse, is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business.
