Portfolio Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented and organized professional to join our team as a Portfolio Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate administration and reconciliation of client investment portfolios across domestic and international assets.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of attention to detail. You will work closely with internal teams and external clients to support high-quality client outcomes and deliver exceptional portfolio administration services.

About the Role

This is a key position in our organization, and we are seeking an experienced and skilled individual who can make a significant contribution to our team's success. As a Portfolio Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Reconciliations: Execute portfolio reconciliations and maintain accurate, up-to-date data
  • Data Integrity: Investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Transaction Processing: Process a range of domestic and international transactions (e.g., fixed interest, asset transfers, redemptions, corporate actions) and administer alternative investments and fund transfer requests
Key Responsibilities

The major part of the role will be to execute portfolio reconciliations and maintain accurate, up-to-date data. You will investigate and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate financial reporting. You will also process a range of domestic and international transactions and administer alternative investments and fund transfer requests.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a middle office, custody, or funds administration role
  • Strong understanding of asset administration and reconciliation processes
  • Understanding of financial instruments and CGT implications
  • Proficiency in financial software and data analysis tools
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and have resilience
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality and client satisfaction
