About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Officer to join our dynamic front office team at Hyatt Hotel Canberra. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Operate the front desk, handling guest arrivals and departures, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
  • Handle internal and external phone calls, relaying messages with proficiency and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Receiving Room Service orders and promptly relaying with the Room Service Kitchen and team.
  • Ensure the front office area is maintained to a high standard, adhering to Hyatt's quality and service standards.
Requirements
  • Good computer skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Diploma/certificate in Hospitality or Tourism Management is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Opera is desirable.
  • Preferable prerequisite knowledge of the Travel/Hotel industry highly regarded.
