We are seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Officer to join our team at the Sutherland Mental Health Service.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to contribute their skills and experience to a dynamic and compassionate team. As an Administration Officer, you will provide high-level administrative support to enable the Inpatient Sutherland Mental Health Service team to achieve their objectives in a timely and efficient manner.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a complex environment. They will also possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office functions, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

In this role, you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks, including responding to enquiries, maintaining accurate records, and providing administrative support to staff. You will also be required to work as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a rotational role across the service.

We offer a competitive salary package of $66,027.58 - $68,085.5 per annum, plus superannuation benefits. Our employees enjoy up to 12 allocated days off each year, as well as access to salary packaging options, discounted gym memberships, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services.

  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role, with the ability to perform a wide range of tasks in a demanding workload;
  • Experience of responding to a range of enquiries and determining the appropriate response in a complex work environment;
  • High level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills;
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing quality service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures;
  • High level skills in Microsoft Office functions, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook;
  • Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a rotational role across the service.
