**Job Title:** Resident Lifestyle Officer

**About The Role**

We are seeking a dynamic professional to develop and implement comprehensive lifestyle programs for our residents in a unique and beautiful location overlooking picturesque Cockburn Sound.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the daily delivery of lifestyle and therapy programs under the direction of the Facility Manager and Occupational Therapist. You will also participate in the admission process by promoting our lifestyle programs and assisting new residents with settling into their room and orientation into the facility.

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to lead and coach staff to deliver quality lifestyle and therapy activities. They will also hold a genuine interest in working with older people and have experience in Therapy, Aged Care, and Hospitality (desirable).

**Responsibilities**

- Develop and implement comprehensive lifestyle programs
- Coordinate and supervise lifestyle and therapy programs
- Participate in the admission process and assist new residents
- Manage lifestyle programs including intergenerational activities, bookings of activities and bus trips
- Organise resident and relative meetings
- Coordinate volunteers and regularly attend dining services
- Act as a resource to uphold excellence in dining principles

**What We Are Looking For**

- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to lead and coach staff to deliver quality lifestyle and therapy activities
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Able to work both independently and within a team environment
- Hold a genuine interest in working with older people
- Experience in Therapy (essential), Aged Care (desirable) and Hospitality (desirable)
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent/higher
- Proven experience in the coordination of enjoyable lifestyle programs in aged care
