  • Deliver engaging activities that cater to residents' diverse interests and hobbies.
  • Establish meaningful connections with residents through social events, games, and conversations.
  • Provide emotional support to residents requiring assistance with cognitive impairment or mental health needs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Lifestyle Coordinator and care team to plan and execute activities, track progress, and escalate concerns as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Support the catering team with meal preparation and service, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact on residents' lives is essential.
  • Be adaptable, flexible, and willing to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bring creativity and innovation to daily activities, making every day an exciting experience.
  • Develop strong communication skills to build trust and rapport with residents and colleagues alike.
  • Previous experience in caring for seniors in Aged Care or community settings is mandatory.
  • Hold a Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or Individual Support (or be willing to complete it).
  • Possess a First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one) and hold a valid Australian driver's license.
