Senior Director, APAC Partnerships

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive growth and expansion in the Asia Pacific region by establishing and executing a comprehensive strategy for Databricks' Global Strategic Initiative (GSI) program.

About the Opportunity:

You will work closely with cross-functional teams in APAC to develop and implement strategies that meet sales goals, adapt the global strategy to local markets, and build strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior-level partner or GSI sales roles, with a proven track record of success in managing large-scale partnerships and driving revenue growth.

Your Impact:

  • Develop and execute a regional GSI strategy that aligns with Databricks' overall business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, including executive leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with account managers, marketing, business development, and services teams to achieve sales objectives.
  • Establish and nurture relationships between internal and external teams to drive partnership success.
  • Represent Databricks as a subject matter expert and presenter at industry events.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of sales or business development experience, with a strong background in GSI partnerships.
  • 5+ years of experience serving in a senior-level partner or GSI sales-based role.
  • Excellent forecasting and management skills, with experience managing accurate forecasts in a regional capacity.
  • Demonstrated capability in strategic planning and implementation of partner programs.
  • Channel sales management experience, including managing global alliance partners, ideally GSIs.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
