Beach Sports Attendant Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to fill the position of Beach Sports Attendant at Hamilton Island.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, patience when working with team members, and a keen eye for detail.

  • Assist guests with beach sports equipment, provide instructional lessons, and ensure all supplies are maintained in a safe working order.
  • Carry out general repairs and maintenance on equipment, respond to guest enquiries and complaints, and perform administrative duties as required.

To be successful, you will need:

  • A driver's license (essential)
  • Exemption 38 or Coxswain ticket (essential)
  • First Aid Certificate, Advanced Resuscitation, and QLD RSA (essential)
  • An enthusiasm for outdoor activities and comfort working in various weather conditions
  • Confidence in and around water, with experience sailing, surf lifesaving, and snorkeling
  • Strong customer service skills and understanding of risk management
