Sports Club Manager

Our Sports Club is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to oversee the daily operations of our facilities, including tennis courts, mini-golf, and island gyms.

  • Manage a diverse team while shaping the guest fitness experience
  • Deliver fitness classes, personal training, and support activities across the island

Responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the Sports Club, ensuring activities and facilities run smoothly and safely
  • Coordinating staff rosters, inductions, and training so the team can deliver an outstanding guest experience
  • Leading by example – running fitness classes, sports activities, and assisting with special events and group functions
  • Maintaining facilities including tennis, mini-golf, and gyms to ensure they are safe, well-presented, and welcoming
  • Responding to guest enquiries and issues with professionalism and care, always aiming to exceed expectations
  • Liaising with other departments and stakeholders to deliver a seamless island-wide guest experience

Requirements include:

Requirements
  • Certificate III and IV in Fitness (Essential)
  • Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR (Essential)
  • Current Drivers Licence (Essential)
  • Previous management or supervisory experience in a similar role (Desirable)
  • Qualified Yoga Instructor (Highly Desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a team
