About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic student to join our team as a School-based Trainee in Supply Chain Operations. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a real-world environment.

This role is based at Irrigation Fairfield and involves working alongside our experienced staff to gain hands-on experience in sales, stock management, and customer service. You will also be required to complete coursework and assessments as part of your Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations.

As a School-based Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work towards a nationally recognized qualification while gaining valuable work experience. This program is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embracing the Reece values, policies, and procedures
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Completing coursework and assessments for the Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations
  • Processing sales and managing stock
  • Answering phone calls and taking messages
  • Communicating effectively with customers and staff
  • Building product knowledge
  • Providing follow-up to customers
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
About You

We are looking for students who possess good communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to follow instructions, work well in a team, and be willing to learn new skills. A positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning are essential.

You will be required to work the equivalent of one and a half days per week, with additional hours available during school holidays. We require Saturday availability, but this can be discussed further during the application process.
