About the Role

You'll be part of a dynamic and high-performing team within our produce department, focusing on one of our largest categories: Soft Fruit. You'll manage profitable sales by satisfying customer needs and market share goals.

Foster strong relationships with your team and farmers/growers, utilizing influencing and negotiating skills for positive outcomes. You'll lead a small team, execute category pricing, promotions, range selection, layout development, and product development. Drive results and performance across Marketing, Operations, Transformation, and Strategy.

Cross-functionally execute customer-centric strategy, shaping a legacy for the future. Drive innovation within the category, working closely with Merchandise. Build relationships with various stakeholders, using negotiation and influencing skills to drive category direction.

About You and Your Skills

This complex position suits an experienced Category Manager. You'll utilize experience in understanding market gaps and developing/implementing leading plans. A successful candidate will be highly engaged, passionate about the role, with well-developed stakeholder management skills.
