About the Role">This role is an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, working closely with participants, families, and carers to identify and address their needs. Your expertise will enable us to develop and deliver tailored support plans, fostering positive behaviour change and promoting a culture of inclusivity and respect.
We are seeking experienced and dynamic Behaviour Support Practitioners who share our passion for making a difference in the lives of others. If you have a genuine passion for working in the disability sector, excellent time management skills, and a proactive attitude, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities">- Assess and develop individualised support plans through person-centred planning and positive behaviour support frameworks.
- Evaluate and implement evidence-based strategies to promote participant goals, passions, and strengths.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless support delivery, mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners as needed.
- Build capacity and knowledge among supporters, including family members, carers, and friends.

- Current suitability confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at the Core or Proficient level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
- Report writing experience.
- Experience in mentoring and supervising other Behaviour Support Practitioners.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
- Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
- Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
