Rehabilitation Specialist Role
About the OpportunityThis is a specialist rehabilitation role where you will be responsible for providing holistic support to help restore an individual's highest level of functional performance. This includes conducting assessments, developing strategies and delivering vocational counselling.
The successful candidate will work closely with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals to ensure that injured workers are able to successfully return to work.
Key Responsibilities
- To identify and address critical risk factors that may impact on a worker's ability to return to work
- To provide strategies to address these factors in practice
- To deliver vocational counselling and facilitate interventions, well-being programs, training and upskilling
- To collaborate and liaise with individuals, employers, medical and other allied health professionals
To be successful in this role, you will need to have professional registration with AHPRA as either a Provisional Psychologist (currently undertaking a 4+2 or 5+1 internship pathway) or a Registered Psychologist, along with a relevant psychology qualification.
You will also need to have a current drivers' licence and access to own transport, as well as the ability to obtain a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
