Security Systems Business Development Manager

Our mission is to continuously deliver outcomes for our customers and partners. We're looking for an experienced Security Sales Business Development Manager to join our Security sales team.
This role involves developing and establishing new business relationships with prospective commercial security customers, key influencers, and strengthening our existing customer base. You'll be responsible for driving the first phases of a sales process, from initial contact through qualification, costing, quotation, negotiation, and closing the sale.
- Consistently achieve budgeted Security System Installation sales for secured bookings and margin;
- Business development activities to establish a solid pipeline for delivering consistent sales budgets;
- Spend a minimum 70% of your time in the field prospecting, quoting, and closing new business;
- Report weekly sales pipeline, weekly forecasts, and activity through Salesforce;
- Assist with complex tender responses and deliver quotes as required;
- Target new accounts through tender responses and cold calling;
- Ensure best-in-class customer service and assist with liaison and follow-up as required;
- Undertake face-to-face presentations to clients for specific service and product offerings;
- Develop and deliver personal performance KPIs annually;
Licenses:
- Must hold a current security license;
- Preferably hold an NV1 clearance or be able to obtain an NV1 clearance (applicable to Australian citizens only);
- Must have a valid driver's license;
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years within the Australian security industry, including security sales experience;
- Ideally hold certifications in Gallagher, Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, Inner-range, and C-CURE;
- Tertiary Qualifications preferred: Electrical or Electronics Engineering;
- Advanced Microsoft and Sales Force skills;
