About the Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Firmware Engineer to join our Surveillance and Communications business unit in Adelaide, SA. As a key member of our hardware team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining firmware for mission-critical defence radar systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop new VHDL firmware for radar systems
- Maintain current product line and engineering support for hardware and firmware
- Collaborate with software, systems, ILS, and quality teams to deliver high-quality products
- Produce detailed design and test documentation to meet contractual project requirements
About You
- A university degree in an appropriate discipline, such as electrical engineering or computer science
- Experience in Intel FPGA VHDL firmware development cycles
- Knowledge of radar principles, digital signal processing, and VHDL implementation
- Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
