We're seeking a highly skilled AWS Networking Engineer to join our team at Versent. As a key member of our Modern Run team, you'll play a crucial role in shaping the future of AWS networking.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients to design and deploy cloud-native network solutions on AWS.
  • Manage and improve high-performance, resilient, and scalable network solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, Route 53, CloudFront, Elastic Load Balancing (NLB/ALB) Global Accelerator, and Network Firewall.
  • Implement comprehensive security measures, including web application firewalls (WAF), intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), network segmentation, and security groups, to protect client infrastructure and applications.
  • Continuously monitor network performance and health, proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks, and optimize network configurations for optimal efficiency and responsiveness.
  • Modernize legacy networks, optimize performance, and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
Requirements:
  • AWS Cloud Ops Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS networking and modern cloud architectures.
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF), routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, Bash) and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK).
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack).
  • AWS Certified Advanced Networking is a plus.
